Self-inspection Guidelines

We understand that everybody needs more time, so today you get to skip the inspection queue!

When you have car insurance with Miway, you can now perform an inspection on the vehicle you have just insured with us yourself - in your own time, without having to drive out to an inspection centre! The self inspection process is so simple - it can be completed in the comfort of your own driveway and will only take around 20 minutes.

Just another way we enable you to live your way!

For any queries you can chat to an agent online - either via our website or the Miway App. Simply login to Self-Service, your online Miway account, and the chat will be available to you. Alternatively, you can give us a call on 0860 64 64 64.

Step 1

• On the main dashboard, under the “Important Actions”, click on “Complete Self-inspection

Step 2

• Review instructions
• Select the vehicle to inspect

Step 3

• Please add the VIN and registration number
• If it has already been added click "Next" to continue

Step 4

• Take photos of all the required angles of the vehicle and add your odometer reading
• Then click on the "Next" button when done

Step 5

• Note all the existing damages on the vehicle
• Take pictures of all the noted damages
• Click "Next" when done

Step 6

• Add or update accessories (If required)
• Click the "Submit" button when done

Step 7

• After the photos have been uploaded, click the "Complete other self-inspections" (If this is required)
• Or click the "Return to dashboard" when you are done
